Sam’s Margaritas

Everyone loves a good margarita. And I mean everyone. So today I’m sharing my favorite margarita recipe so far, and it comes from my brother, Sam (hence the name Sam’s margaritas). This recipe is so simple, not insanely sweet like some are, and most importantly, delicious.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1.5 oz lime juice
  • 1.5 oz tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • Splash of club soda (optional)
  • Lots of ice

INSTRUCTIONS

In order, add all the ingredients to a glass, stir and enjoy. I told you it was easy.

*EXTRA TIPS

If you’re a spicy margarita lover, add a few jalapeño slices to kick the drink up a notch.

For a fancy salt rim, combine equal parts salt, sugar and Tajín in a bowl. Mix well. Cut a lime wedge and run it all the way around your glass. Turn your glass upside down and twist it around in the fancy salt mix. It not only tastes good but will make your drink look prettier!

Happy drinking!
